Griffin in Summer is a 2024 American independent coming-of-age comedy film written and directed by Nicholas Colia in his feature debut. Starring Everett Blunck, Melanie Lynskey, Owen Teague, Abby Ryder Fortson, and Kathryn Newton, the film follows a 14-year-old aspiring playwright whose life and work are upended when a 25-year-old stranger enters his suburban world. Premiering at the Tribeca Festival in June 2024, it won three major awards and is set for theatrical release on August 29, 2025. Rated 94% in Rotten Tomatoes website.
