Lurker is an American psychological drama thriller written and directed by Alex Russell. Starring Théodore Pellerin, Archie Madekwe, Zack Fox, Havana Rose Liu, Wale Onayemi, Daniel Zolghadri, and Sunny Suljic, the film follows a retail worker who becomes entangled with the inner circle of an emerging pop star. Originally featured on the 2020 Black List, the project premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and later screened at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival as part of the Berlinale Special Gala, where it competed for the Teddy Award. The score was composed by Kenny Beats, with Mubi handling U.S. distribution and Focus Features acquiring international rights. The film is slated for theatrical release in the United States on August 22, 2025.
