The Roses is an American satirical black comedy directed by Jay Roach and written by Tony McNamara. A reimagining of Warren Adler’s 1981 novel The War of the Roses and the 1989 film adaptation, it stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Olivia Colman, Andy Samberg, and Kate McKinnon. The story follows a seemingly perfect marriage that unravels into rivalry and chaos when ambition and resentment collide.
